What Are GRA Certificates?

Every Moissanite stone sold by Moissanit Germany comes with an official GRA Gemological Report — a certificate issued under licence by GRA Europe (Gemological Research Association), the only authorised GRA licensing body in Europe.

What Is a GRA Gemological Report?

A GRA Gemological Report is a detailed grading document that accompanies each Moissanite stone. It records the independently assessed properties of the stone, including:

  • Shape and cut style
  • Measurements
  • Carat weight
  • Colour grade
  • Clarity grade
  • Cut quality
  • Polish and symmetry
  • Fluorescence
  • Inclusions and purity characteristics

Each certificate carries a unique GRA identification number that allows instant online verification. Customers can confirm the authenticity of their certificate at any time by scanning the QR code or entering the ID at check.gracert.eu.

GRA Europe — The Official European Licensing Authority

GRA Europe is the sole authorised issuer of GRA licences within the European Union. The GRA name and logo are protected as a registered EU trade mark (EUIPO registration no. 019159269, effective 3 July 2025). Certificates issued under GRA Europe licences meet a defined grading standard and are tied to a verifiable digital record — not a paper document that can be duplicated or altered. All GRA certificates supplied with Moissanit Germany products are issued through this licensed system. This means every certificate can be independently verified online, and the data on the certificate corresponds exactly to the record held in the GRA database.

Why Verifiability Matters

A certificate is only as trustworthy as the system behind it. The GRA Europe verification service at check.gracert.eu allows anyone — buyer, recipient, or insurer — to confirm the details of a stone at any time, from any device. No account or registration is required. This provides a level of transparency that a printed document alone cannot offer.

Our Quality Commitment

At Moissanit Germany, we work exclusively with suppliers who meet our quality standards. Every stone in our collection is assessed for colour, clarity, cut, and carat weight before it reaches our customers. The GRA certificate that accompanies each stone reflects this assessment and provides a permanent, verifiable record of the stone's properties. If you have any questions about our certificates or the verification process, please do not hesitate to contact us.
